I don’t want to invest my time and energy anymore in incremental changes of the old… I want to create the New in a new way, fresh, new (really new □), so that our youngsters can flourish in surroundings that value them, nourish them, flourish them, while creating a better world. The Oxford Dictionary defines it as: ‘in a new or different and typically more positive way’. I feel I am ready to create the New, anew. Me too, I have tried to transform our current systems for over 25 years, from within. So I also have that same compassion towards myself: I try my best. Just trying my best, as the issues we face, by far outreach our individual comprehension, everything is connected, complex and nobody knows what to do. I do now consciously choose to have a different focus though: trying my best to create the New anew. I don’t judge or separate, but feel a lot of compassion for how we have, collectively, arrived where we are. I thought it was about all the current outdated systems we try to ‘transform’ from within: business, politics, education… I also felt my own judgement and frustration in it: thinking in ‘them and us’, separating myself from ‘them’. When I first heard that quote, it resonated deeply. Without knowing what that means, it is a feeling: discovering it along the way… The famous quote of Einstein has gotten a whole new meaning for me: ‘You can’t solve problems at the same level of consciousness that created them’. More and more I hear myself saying that I strongly feel to ‘create the New anew’. Important to voice, as well, so that fellow travellers on this pathless path keep encouraging each other. But it doesn’t withhold me from living my Truth and being radically honest: both important elements of this path. The resistance around me, is still often present. The resistance in me has gone, shifted into surrendering, fully. It comes with a lot of resistance: in me and around me. I can confirm, without complaining by the way. Following a pathless path is not a walk in the park… ‘The way of a pioneer is not an easy one’, one of my teachers said, a few years ago.
